FMCT Run 4 Hope is a Multi-Sport club for men and women of all levels that was created on June 22nd, 2003. Fletcher’s Meadow is located in North West Brampton with quick access to many beneficial training grounds such as the beautiful Niagara Escarpment. One of their primary goals is to introduce and support new athletes to the sport of triathlon and duathlon, but a secondary goal is to be able to give back something to the community. For this reason they put on the run4hope race annually to raise funds for those less fortunate. Their cause was helped greatly by TD Bank branch #2120 in Brampton, Ontario.
Harlequin More Than Words aims to enhance the well-being of women. Their goals are to:
• Raise awareness about worthy causes that are of concern to women
• Provide financial assistance to these important charities
• Engage employees, authors and readers and the general public in worthy causes and provide opportunities for them to make a difference
A collection of short stories inspired by their lives will be written by a selection of our most acclaimed authors. These stories will be published and shared with our readers, with proceeds from the book being reinvested in Harlequin’s charitable initiatives.

Kevin Weekes, of Barbadian heritage, had a vision to merge the international business community with top entertainers and professional athletes from around the world for four fabulous days in Barbados.
The 5th Kevin Weekes Celebrity Charity Golf Classic, presented by the Barbados Tourism Authority, supported two youth focused initiatives including the Toronto based Sky’s the Limit, and The Phoenix Academy of Barbados. This exclusive event was held from July 2nd – 6th, 2009 on the picturesque island of Barbados.
Kids Helping Kids is a foundation to help disadvantaged children started in 2004 by Briana MacLeod when she was nine years old.
Kids Helping Kids chooses a wide range of organizations that help children in different ways and in different parts of the world. Their current plan is to give 60% of the money they raise to organizations in Montreal and 40% of the money they raise to organizations in the rest of Canada and international organizations.
Michael “Pinball” Clemons Foundation: Their vision is to quicken academic excellence, infuse depth of character, promote health and vitality, and inspire generosity in our youth.
The four pillars of their vision are:
1. Character – promotes the foundation of good citizenship
2. Education – which is the catalyst for success and progress
3. Health – which is the foundation of vitality
4. Under Resourced – which is the foundation of philanthropy
Through organized fundraising appeals and events (Pinball Wizard gala), their goal is to make substantial contributions to local health, human resources, education and character building programs that serve our community.
The Rogers Group of Companies has demonstrated its continued commitment to earning the goodwill of the communities they serve. Their support ranges from national initiatives to grass roots charities. They participate both as a corporate entity — providing funding, in-kind resources and creative applications of their technological resources – and through the individual efforts of their employees.
The Rotary Club of Toronto Charitable Foundation is the fundraising and granting entity of the Rotary Club of Toronto. Its primary mission is to fund programs, in the City of Toronto, which benefit children and youth in the areas of health, education, child abuse and neglect, social development and life enrichment. It also funds community programs for the homeless, disabled and seniors and contributes, from time to time, to international Rotary projects which assist children and youth.
